"An eclipse is a far more potent lunation. Look to the house the eclipse falls in your natal chart. The affairs of that house will be activated. Does the eclipse fall on a planet in your natal chart? That planet will also be activated. The sign of the eclipse plays a role in the likely events that the eclipse will trigger.

What is a Super Moon?
"A Supermoon is a full Moon or a new Moon at its closest point to Earth; also called perigee. A Supermoon looks around 12 to 14% bigger than its counterpart, the Micromoon. A Supermoon can be full or new."
What is a Blood Moon?
"Most of us in astronomy had not heard the term Blood Moon to describe a lunar tetrad until a few years ago, but now the term has gained widespread use in the media. The origin of the term is religious, at least according to Christian pastor John Hagee, who wrote a 2013 book about Blood Moons. The total eclipse will start at 10:11 p.m. EDT (7:11 p.m. PDT) Sunday evening and will last one hour and 12 minutes. It will be visible across North and South America, Europe, Africa, and parts of West Asia and the eastern Pacific, NASA said.

First we can consider the sign that the Moon is in, in general. The moon changes sign about every 2.5 days, taking a lunar month to traverse the sky and our charts.
When the Moon is in Aries
We're motivated by a strong desire to start fresh. A gut instinct to start something new is with us now, as well as the gumption to do so. Our pioneering impulses are strong, and we feel energetic, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. We may also be tactless and impulsive now. Full Moon for your Sun or Rising Sign

What is happening at the lunations?
Every new moon (and full moon) is different because it falls in a different sign. When the moon is new it is in the same sign as the Sun because, by definition, they are conjunct and the moon is between the earth and the sun. When the moon is full it is in the opposite sign from the Sun because, by definition, they are the farthest from each other, with the earth between them.

So an important thing to consider is the house in your natal chart where the lunation is falling, as well as any planets that might be nearby.

From the New Moon, through the First Quarter Moon until the Full Moon, the moon is said to be waxing, which means the light is increasing. From the Full Moon, through the Last Quarter Moon until the next New Moon, the moon is said to be waning, or reducing in light.
