Signs of Mental Illness

Here are some possible factors - signs (and planets) of mental illness:

There is probably so much more to say on this, and over time, I hope to collect more information.  I also should say that none of this is a certain determinant, but rather indicators of stressors, when planets are afflicted (squares and oppositions).

water signs are more susceptible
Afflictions in water signs produce depression,
anxiety, drug or alcohol addiction,
bipolar illness or schizophrenia.
Sun Square Uranus, Neptune or Pluto is difficult
The Moon rules the brain and the emotions.
Moon Square these planets is difficult
Mercury rules communications and the active thinking processes.
"Mercury in the birth chart may rule how we process data,
but it is not necessarily an indicator of mental and emotional stability."
Mercury Square Uranus, Neptune or Pluto is difficult

Venus: Nymphomania, frigidity or sexual frustration,
inability to express emotions or affection.
Venus affects relationships more than basic mental health.
Mars: Violence, contrariness, uncontrollable temper, epilepsy.
...Aggressive (mirrors Pluto behavior to a lesser degree)

Jupiter: Alcoholism, eating disorders.
Eating as a substitute for love. Diabetes, gout, obesity, liver
and kidney problems can appear but not mental issues.
Occasionally Jupiter can produce delusions of grandeur.
.....Compulsive, grandeur

Saturn: Difficulty discussing problems, repression,
depression, negative outlook.  Some people live under a cloud.
  ....Rigid, strict, single-minded,depression,defensive

Uranus: restlessness, unpredictability, eccentricity,
violence, anxiety, paranoia, epilepsy.
...Bizarre, eccentric, erratic, wild card, inconsistency,
 unpredictable, peculiar

Neptune: No grip on reality, delusions,
fantasies, escapism, lethargy, drug abuse
and alcoholism. Neptune is the primary indicator
of drug abuse and alcoholism... Confusion,
 delusions, hallucinations, religious fanaticism,
addictive behavior

Pluto: Emotional breakdowns, violence, abuse by
others such as rape or imprisonment, sexual problems, drug abuse,
reclusive tendencies, suicide and obsession with the dark side of life
..Paranoia, suicidal, intense, overbearing

"All of the signs have their positive and negative qualities but the water signs are more susceptible to mental illness. When the Sun is in Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces, the person is more sensitive and emotional. Water signs are sympathetic and thoughtful of others as a rule. This can be turned inside out and they can just as easily feel sorry for themselves. Afflictions in water signs produce depression, anxiety, drug or alcohol addiction, bipolar illness or schizophrenia.
The Moon and Mercury are the most important indicators. The Moon rules the brain and the emotions. Mercury rules communications and the active thinking processes. Example aspects that suggest difficulty are Sun square Uranus, Neptune or Pluto, Moon square Mercury, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune or Pluto, Mercury square Uranus, Neptune or Pluto. If you are born with any of these aspects, it doesn’t automatically mean you are unstable. You might be well balanced and have everything under control, especially if you have some planets in earth signs, or a well aspected Saturn.
Each planet produces certain effects. Venus: Nymphomania, frigidity or sexual frustration, inability to express emotions or affection. Venus affects relationships more than basic mental health. Mars: Violence, contrariness, uncontrollable temper, epilepsy. Jupiter: Alcoholism, eating disorders. Eating as a substitute for love. Diabetes, gout, obesity, liver and kidney problems can appear but not mental issues. Occasionally Jupiter can produce delusions of grandeur. Venus and Jupiter do not normally present difficulties. These are the happy planets. The worst that can happen is too much fun. Saturn: Difficulty discussing problems, repression, depression, negative outlook. Some people live under a cloud. I call it the Poor Me syndrome. Uranus: restlessness, unpredictability, eccentricity, violence, anxiety, paranoia, epilepsy. Neptune: No grip on reality, delusions, fantasies, escapism, lethargy, drug abuse and alcoholism. Neptune is the primary indicator of drug abuse and alcoholism. Pluto: Emotional breakdowns, violence, abuse by others such as rape or imprisonment, sexual problems, drug abuse, reclusive tendencies, suicide and obsession with the dark side of life." "Mercury, ruling the analytical abilities, when badly placed or under the severe affliction of the most malefic planet equal bhava madhya (midpoint), causes unmanageable anxiety leading to depression, nervous breakdowns, hypertension, and insomnia. Happiness, health, and general disposition are ruled by the first house, and are additionally factored in.
The third house and Mercury rule mental growth, the third house and Mars rule initiatives, the fourth house rules the power of basic comprehension, and the fifth house rules intelligence, emotional peace of mind, and depression. (Although beyond the scope of this discussion, severe natal weakness and/or affliction of the planets connected with the third, the fourth, and the fifth houses, along with both the Moon and Mercury, and without any contact of benefic offsetting influences, can result in severe mental handicaps, such as mental retardation.)
The overall natal weakness and/or affliction of the planets connected with the third, the fourth, and the fifth houses, and/or both the Moon and Mercury, may result in mental deficiencies for the native, inabilities to cope, and consequently bring upon the native anything from anxiety and depression, to full blown manic episodes, depending upon the severity of affliction and weakness, and the contributing nature of any influential contacts. Both the sixth house and Mercury rule nervous control, which also factors into consideration when assessing determinants for anxiety."
Also:
"Mercury in the birth chart may rule how we process data, but it is not necessarily an indicator of mental and emotional stability. For that we look to two factors: the Moon and the Third House...

The Third House represents how your mind works. Not your mind in the "big picture" sense, but more like "the part of your mind that plays along at home when you're watching Jeopardy." ...

When it comes to the basic functions of the mind, before things like logic and language and learning getting the way, we need to look to the Moon." Matthew Currie

Emotional Health Significators: Depression: the fifth house; Emotional Peace: the fifth and Moon; Mental Peace: the fourth and Moon; and Nervous Control: the sixth and Mercury." Sandy L. Crowther

Sandra Rohzon tentatively concluded that mental illness can be the result of several things:
